Reporting AR
Active Reports has been included as part of AppFrameR3. After facing problems in quite a few reports where we did not manage to create certain reports, we had to implement support for Active Reports. The problems that DevExpress has are related to the cross band box and cross band line. When using this in the detail band where a sub-report are growing, the box and line does not follow the growth of the sub.
For the end user the only difference is the preview panel. This panel is based on the selected report and will be a bit different from DevExpress to active reports. Other than this there will no difference, including the Navigation admin.
We are introducing a new designer for creating AR reports. The way of creating the report, setting the recordsource and publishing the report is same as for DevExpress reports. The difference is of course the designer itself.
